Wedding at Cottesloe Civic Centre: Klara and Martin

Klara & Martin’s Wedding at Cottesloe Civic Centre – We had the privilege of photographing the wedding of Klara and Marting Kubat recently. Their wedding ceremony was held on the afternoon of a hot and humid day in the grounds of the Cottesloe Civic Centre. We took some time for family photos at that location, followed by bridal party shots at UWA. The reception was held at Akoya (upstairs at The Breakwater, Hillary’s). It was a great day despite the heat. Sadly, their Best Man had to leave immediately after the ceremony to join his partner who had gone into labour, and therefore missed the rest of the day. There were some lovely touches at the reception, including guest gifts from San Churros, beautiful place cards, and we certainly didn’t overlook the Vera Wang cake cutting set. Although being somewhat scorched by the sun during the wedding ceremony, the guests were able to enjoy lovely conversation and food while watching it set from the panoramic windows at Akoya. The staff at Akoya were very pleasant and helpful throughout the evening. We wish them all the best in their marriage and look forward to seeing them start a family in the future. They are just the most lovely (and not to mention stunningly beautiful) couple, and were a huge pleasure to be with all day. Thanks to Neil at Ever After Photography for having us along on this day.
