Actors’ Headshot Perth – Maria

We were excited to hear from Maria again recently, and even happier to hear that she needed to update her actors’ headshot portfolio prior to moving abroad to pursue her acting career. When we last met Maria she had been doing mainly theater / stage work. She is now moving into screen and television projects and felt that she needed a bit more variety in her portfolio of headshots. We got really lucky with a gorgeous spring afternoon up in Kings Park, and with Maria’s make-up artist (Michelle) on location with us, and a few outfit changes, we were able to produce a wide range of looks. It was great to work through looks ranging to from girl-next-door to business to smouldering and most things in between in just a couple of hours. A true testament to the versatility and efficiency of both Maria and Michelle. Having a range of different looks to offer to casting agents depending on what type of part you’re going for makes perfect sense. Yes, everyone needs a basic headshot that will work for most things, but surely having something tailored to the part you’re auditioning for would give you a head start.
