Perth Comedian Headshots – Ciaran

Perth Comedian Headshots – Actors’ headshots are always fun to photograph and it’s great getting to know the individuals whose faces we are helping to promote. Plus they tend to be very natural in front of the camera, and take direction very well, making a photographer’s life much easier. But being tasked with photographing some headshots and promotional images for this young Perth comedian was a special treat for us. Ciaran is only sixteen but has performed many times in a variety of comedy venues around Perth, and Australia. I don’t think I’ve laughed as hard at a photoshoot in a long time. After a short conversation about what his needs were, Ciaran came to the studio to be photographed on the white seamless backdrop, resulting in the fresh and clean images you see below. We considered shooting outdoors with the great natural light that we are blessed with here in Perth. However, in the end we agreed that the studio approach would yield more versatile images for promotional material.

[Update: Things have been going great for Ciaran since we did this shoot. He’s appeared on Channel Ten’s The Project a couple of times and has been performing at some fairly big comedy gigs.
